Indian golfer Yuvraj Sandhu finished his first round at the DS Automobiles 83 Open d'Italia with an even par 71, placing him tied 93rd. Home favourite Eduardo Molinari set a new course record with an 8-under 63 to take the lead, followed by Joaquim Niemann. Sandhu will need a significantly improved second round to make the cut.
